RNBC at The Ride for Roswell
All of us at RNBC are absolutely honored to be represented by such an amazing team at the Ride for Roswell, read below for their 2016 Ride for Roswell success story!
RNBC was part of their 2nd Ride For Roswell! The RNBC Team consisted of Nancy & Allison Green, Stacy & Paisley Kubit, and Mike Mayle. Stacy and Nancy have been riding since 2009; Allison joined the team in 2012. They have done varying distances in support, honor & memory of various friends and family. In 2014 Stacy completed the 30 Mile River Ride while pregnant with her daughter Paisley Mae. In 2015 Paisley joined them at opening ceremonies & packet pickup because she was not yet old enough to participate. Finally, this year, at 18 months, she was able to ride along with the family again! The team successfully completed the 30 Mile Early River Route on Saturday June 25th, 2016.
It was a great and truly inspirational weekend; Attending the opening ceremonies on Friday and seeing the Peloton Riders was incredible. Lucky for us, Saturday was a beautiful day and perfect for a bike ride. Paisley sang and waved to people for the 1st 10 miles, she applied some sunscreen all by herself and slept through the next 10miles. She played stickers, had some snacks and cheered the last 10miles! Stacy said finishing the Ride with her daughter was one of the best moments as a Mom so far! As tradition the family all crossed the finished line together!
“It is so exciting to be able to share this special event with my mom, sister, future brother-in-law and daughter! We are excited to create life long memories together with humility, friendship and charity being the focus.” -Stacy Kubit
The Ride is one way we can join together and make a stand for continued awareness, research and support! We know that we are not alone with this scenario, of having many close friends and family effected by cancer, many of you are in the same situation or have dealt with it on an even more personal level. This is why we ride and donate!
A special thank you to RNBC who hosted a ‘Beers & Gears’ Event this year where the team raised $100. Overall fundraising this year for the team was for $2,760! A record year for the team!
THANK YOU!

RNBC July Update, It’s Hop-pin and X-mas in July!
The epic celebration also known as the RNBC Grand Opening has come and gone. A huge shout out to everyone who came by to be a part of the event, it surpassed all of our expectations in the best way! If you missed the party or you’re just missing us, don’t worry, RNBC is gearing up for an incredible Summer… yes, SUMMER, it is finally upon us in West Seneca, NY! Summer means it’s time to enjoy some brews on our outdoor Biergarten which is a whopping 1,800 square feet and features our very own (and West Seneca’s only) Hop Garden!
Here is a picture of some of our hop plants (aka ‘Humulus Lupulus’ for our science savvy friends) that are just starting out. As they grow at a rate of about 1ft/day, hop plants climb like crazy after a little guidance, the hop plants will take over those strings and soon produce hops, the female flowers of a hop plant, the good stuff (girl power)!
Hops are used in the brewing process for many reasons, they help balance the beer and also to act as a preservative! Want to know more or talk hops or the hops we brew with?! Stop in to see us and ask for brewmaster Dave – it’ll make his day!
Aside from our fabulous owners who love chatting about beer, the tasting room Brewtenders are full of knowledge on everything from the beers we serve to the brewing process itself. Here at RNBC we are dedicated in making everyone’s visit a unique brew-sperience!
Here’s what beers we have on this weekend, July 23:
The hop plants are growing fast, as is RNBC!
We are happy to announce our new expanded hours Wednesday – Sunday and we will be opening Mondays starting August 3rd, 2015…But that’s not all the good news:
Get a team together and bring along your thinking caps, August 3rd kicks off
DJ Trivia Night at RNBC
Trivia will begin every Monday at 7:00 PM sharp so be sure to arrive by at least 6:30 PM to grab a spot. Spend an evening testing your trivia knowledge while enjoying some of our fantastic craft brews as we are the first brewery in the area to be hosting this fun-filled night out. Trivia, Friends and Beer; what a combo!
This Summer has been busy here at RNBC, I know every time I come in for a shift something is always slightly different and improved. Being a new brewery, we appreciate everyone’s input and for sticking with us as we improve each week. If you haven’t been by in a while, we invite you to come back and see what’s changed! As always, our top priority is giving guests an amazing experience along with making delicious and enjoyable craft beer.
Our current selection of craft brews can always be found on our website (here), and they are partnered with various flavors of WNY local, gluten free, McKenzie’s Hard Cider and Black Bird Hard Cider. Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. also proudly features Appalachian Brewing Company Craft Root Beer, White Birch Beer, and Diet Root Beer.
As part of our mastery of Mixology we even blend craft soda with some of our brews to create flavor explosions!!
The entire Craft Soda line is available for purchase individually, 6-packs or the case to take home.
We mentioned August already but don’t worry, July isn’t over yet and we plan to end it with a exciting string of events. This Saturday, July 25, RNBC is celebrating Christmas in July! It might be too cold in December to enjoy our biergarten and patio, so come join us for some holiday fun in the sun! There will be events, specials, and celebration all day long, with the possibility of a surprise mixology drink making an appearance.
Keeping with the Christmas spirit of giving, anyone that brings any canned food donation will receive $1.00 off their first beer, donations benefiting the Food Bank of WNY. Hope to see you soon!

RNBC – An award winning brewery!
First off, to all of our Star War fans, #MayThe4thBeWithYou
Secondly, feels good to state that we are an Award Winning Brewery!!!
It was a banner day for us at RNBC Tuesday May 4th. Early in the day, we learned that we were voted the #1 brewery at Beerology!!! The event, which was hosted at the Buffalo Museum of Science, was attended by over 500 craft beer/science fans who tasted sampled from over 25 different breweries. We brought ‘Not Yo’ Grandpas’ Cream Ale and ‘Polar Vortex’ Belgian Dubbel. Did you know, that our ‘Polar Vortex’ checked in as the ‘highest calorie’ filled beer by the beer judges at Beerology?! Well, both are still on tap at our brewery but in limited quantities, so stop by soon to try!
We are truly honored to have won this award, and surprised in the sense that we had only been open one month and was ‘up against’ some serious ‘competitors’ like Southern Tier, CBW, Big Ditch and many more. We ‘underdogs’ really are blessed and very thankful that the folks at Beerology voted for us working class guys who have been grinding day in and day out, burning midnight oil in the name of putting out a quality beer and brand. Cheers to you for diggin’ our fruits of our labor!
Special thanks to Jen Breier and Cheryl Johnson. They spent that their Saturday with us and made it an award winning experience for those who came to our table! Also, cheers to Community Beer Works who placed in a close 2nd place.
Continuing in our winning ways, we attended the 5th annual Visit Buffalo Niagara’s Beacon Awards as nominees for the Tourism Initiative of the Year award. We were part of a team with the other WNY Breweries as the Craft Beer category. The announcement from the presenter stated “In a no brainier decision…the winner is Craft Beer in WNY!” This event was held at the Buffalo Convention Center at 12pm and held over 500 business people from multiple service and tourist related businesses in the WNY region. The trophy was then presented to us, Flying Bison and Riverworks on stage in front of the large group. Check out the selfie we took while we accepted the award too!
Thanks again to all who helped us win Best Brewery at Beerology and to those who continue to #drinkLocal and support the growing, and popular WNY Craft Brewing scene. Cheers goes to you!

RNBC Sports:
- RNBC Curling Club had a rock solid start to the season, but unfortunately we had to open a brewery. We are defiantly the best curling club out of all the breweries though.
- The RNBC / PoolBrite Danes Hockey Club played in the annual Tournament of Beers in Rochester last weekend, going 1-2-1. They represented well in the beer portion of the tourney, but couldn’t pull through in the hockey category. The Danes last won the Tournament of Beers in 2012.
