RNBC was part of their 2nd Ride For Roswell!  The RNBC Team consisted of Nancy & Allison Green, Stacy & Paisley Kubit, and Mike Mayle.  Stacy and Nancy have been riding since 2009; Allison joined the team in 2012.  They have done varying distances in support, honor & memory of various friends and family. In 2014 Stacy completed the 30 Mile River Ride while pregnant with her daughter Paisley Mae. In 2015 Paisley joined them at opening ceremonies & packet pickup because she was not yet old enough to participate.  Finally, this year, at 18 months, she was able to ride along with the family again!  The team successfully completed the 30 Mile Early River Route on Saturday June 25th, 2016.

It was a great and truly inspirational weekend;  Attending the opening ceremonies on Friday and seeing the Peloton Riders was incredible. Lucky for us, Saturday was a beautiful day and perfect for a bike ride.  Paisley sang and waved to people for the 1st 10 miles, she applied some sunscreen all by herself and slept through the next 10miles.  She played stickers, had some snacks and cheered the last 10miles!  Stacy said finishing the Ride with her daughter was one of the best moments as a Mom so far!  As tradition the family all crossed the finished line together!

“It is so exciting to be able to share this special event with my mom, sister, future brother-in-law and daughter!  We are excited to create life long memories together with humility, friendship and charity being the focus.”  -Stacy Kubit

The Ride is one way we can join together and make a stand for continued awareness, research and support! We know that we are not alone with this scenario, of having many close friends and family effected by cancer, many of you are in the same situation or have dealt with it on an even more personal level. This is why we ride and donate!

A special thank you to RNBC who hosted a ‘Beers & Gears’ Event this year where the team raised $100.  Overall fundraising this year for the team was for $2,760!  A record year for the team!

THANK YOU!

RNBC in the news; Garden of Eden Pumpkin Ale

Everywhere I turn I see the word “Pumpkin”, I guess that only means one thing… it’s PUMPKIN SEASON and here at Rusty Nickel Brewing Co., we take pumpkins seriously! People have been asking us since August where the ‘pumpkin beers’ are and our answer is always the same,
pumpkinWe use actual pumpkins while brewing!
Using actual pumpkins means this beer cannot be brewed until the pumpkins are perfectly ripe and ready. The Garden of Eden Pumpkin Ale is one of the oldest recipes our fabulous brewer, Dave, has. He uses pumpkins from Zittel’s Farm in Eden, NY grown specifically for this brew. The resulting beer is sweet, malty and has just the right amount of spice to make it taste like a pumpkin pie… Just like Grandma used to make! Dave’s special attention to this beer has not gone unnoticed, a few articles recognized Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. for the Garden of Eden Pumpkin Ale including:

Thanks for the love!

During our Harvest Fest weekend, RNBC had a limited release of our Smolderin Punkin, which also used actual pumpkins from Zittel’s Farm. There is only limited supply left, come try it while you still can! Smolderin Punkin is semi-sweet, malty, with hints of smokiness, vanilla and just the right amount of spice.
Garden of Eden is set for release in a few weeks, we will keep you updated on the exact date but while you wait, stop by and have a pint (or a few) with us! We have plenty on tap
CHEERS!
