It’s National Creamsicle Day, which makes it the perfect day to celebrate our signature Slice O’ Havens Imperial Cream Ale – and the silver medal that it won at the 2018 New York State Craft Beer Competition.
The competition, open to all licensed New York State breweries, took place on July 28 in Rochester with over 1,000 entries in 25 beer style categories and 75 uniquely qualified judges tasting and ranking the brews. These judges seemed to agree with our customers’ opinions on our best-selling beer when they awarded Slice O’ Havens second place in the Fruit and Spice Beer Over 6.0 ABV category.
Like a liquid, adult creamsicle, this ultra smooth ale has fresh orange zest on the nose and a hint of vanilla at the finish. Coming in at 9.8% ABV, this brew is dangerously delicious and delightfully drinkable.
