Dog Friendly Dog Policy at Rusty Nickel

We are proud to offer a dog friendly patio at Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. and we welcome all to enjoy our space. To ensure the safety of all patrons, please acknowldge the following Dog Policy.

Brief Description: Owners are responsible for the health, safety, and actions of their pet. Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. assumes no liability for damages or harm caused by a dog. Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. and its staff reserve the right to deny access to or request removal from the patio to any dog at any time for any reason.

INTRODUCTION
Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. is happy to provide a safe and enjoyable patio space for customers to bring their well-behaved dogs. The following policy details the responsibilities of the dog owners and the authorities of the staff to enforce it.

POLICY STATEMENT
Well behaved dogs are permitted in our outdoor patio area. Dogs are not permitted for extended stays inside, with the exception of service or support animals. Dogs must be free of any communicable diseases, including fleas. Dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations as required by law. Proof of current vaccinations and health status must be immediately relinquished by the owner upon request by a staff member. Valid forms include, but are not limited to printed record from Veterinarian or tags.

Dogs must have no known history of aggressive behavior or biting, and must be well socialized to people (regardless of age, gender, or otherwise) and other dogs. Dogs with known behavioral or temperamental issues will not be permitted on the property. This includes, but is not limited to, biting, excessive barking, jumping, or chasing.

Owners are responsible for their pet’s behavior, well-being, hygiene, and happiness the entire time he or she is vising. Dogs must be leashed and supervised at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs, and must do so immediately. Waste must be collected, sealed, and discarded in dumpster or town garbage totes outside of the building. If owners do not have waste collection materials, garbage bags will be provided for them. Owners are liable for any damages to property caused by their dog(s). Owners are liable to any damages cause to other dogs or people by their dog(s). While water bowls are available, supplies are limited. Owners are responsible for providing any and all comforts their pet requires.

All animals are to be treated humanely. A high standard of compassion and respect is expected of all pet owners.

Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. assumes no liability should a pet run away. The outdoor area is not completely fenced.

While, Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. is happy to offer these benefits to our patrons, please note that this policy does not permit employees to bring their pets during their shifts.

ENFORCEMENT
Entry to the patio area serves as acknowledgement and agreement to all posted policies.

Any employee of Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. is authorized to enforce this policy. If a customer is found to be in noncompliance with any part of this policy, the employee reserves the right to manage the situation at their discretion. Execution of verbal warning or removal is at the discretion of employee.

Any complaints from fellow patrons will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. Any display of aggressive behavior will require the owner and dog in question to immediately vacate the property. Any owner asked to take their dog home, must do so immediately.
